Hey there! Today I decided to make this cute little initial craft. I chose an “M” for Melisa. Or Moore. (Lucky me, my name alliterates!) So here’s what you’ll need:
-Wooden sticks/poles (Found these at the dollar store)
-Hot glue gun
First I hot glued 2 poles together just to make the end product a little bigger. I just put a dot of hot glue on the top and bottom of the pole rather than one long swipe. (I think that makes it easier to keep things straight.)
To wrap the poles with the ribbon, I just hot glued it on the bottom,
and wrapped that around once so you can’t see the end.
Here it is all wrapped up! I did this for 2 of my 4 pole sets.
For the other two, I just hot glued the ribbon down like this.
Make sure to wrap the ribbon all the way around so the edges don’t come loose.
Lastly just put the poles together and let it dry for a bit.
Well, that’s it! I put my “M” on my desk, just leaning against the wall. Just a fun 5-minute craft, and it turns out pretty cute! Let me know what you think, and how it turned out for you!
